Wow, didn't even check the date that post is old af!
Dont know if it has changed later on or last year after the game has been updated (updating a 21 years old game sounds dum)
But alot of ppl are saying rate 100.000 (for steamers at least) are the best, it works for me right,headshots all the way lately (a bit bad for long ranged shooting but mostly good, 'specially for spray headshots).
but the other rates such as cmdrate 105, updaterate 100 and ex interp 0 are doing a good job so far for me.

i am the best cs rate and not other ones. xD The most players like russian users told me to use rate 100 000 as MAX and 25000 as min.
