Dear Lamda brothers,
When we started our servers, clan Lamda members were limited only to the core team. Fighting clan wars was manageable, and we could function as a team by choosing a playing 5 for every clan match. With an increase in our server's popularity, the number of clan lamda applicants grew a great deal and today we have more than 25 members. Unfortunately,
Clan Lamda has too many members to call itself a clan anymore.
There are just so many members that managing clan matches and deciding a playing 5 becomes a pain.
Keeping this fact in mind we, the core lamda team, have decided to
Dissolve Clan Lamda.
Clan Lamda no longer exists as a clan from this point forward.
The Lamda Alliance:
Instead of being a clan, Lamda will now exist as an alliance of clans.
Ex-Lamda members will now form new, independent clans between themselves or by recruiting.
To show their membership to this alliance, and as a show respect towards their old clan, all new clans must use the "/" symbol from the lamda tag.
We have taken this decision with much sadness, but we realise that it is the best course of action if we are to keep everyone playing.
As I sign off, a now ex-member of clan Lamda, I will say I am proud to have been part of this golden era of Counter Strike gaming.
Regards,
~K
