As announced in the last quarter in 2021 I have cut free Admins and free VIPs off.
The reason is that running the server with players is very expensive. The very most boost stuff (needed to have players around in the day and evening times) is done by me. This is about 60 - 70 Euro monthy only for the dust2 server. I have other servers running too which cost money too.
Therefore I announce in Whatsapp admin chat group and in discord:
- Any admin must contribute at least 1 Euro monthly. That's similar to a membership fee.
- NEW: Any VIP that want to stay VIP must pay 0,5 Euro monthly.
Both is not much and anyone who loves the server should be able contr. this. The remaining free admins will be cut soon too.
I have mostly positive feedback about this. Any suggestions are welcome anyway.
